Is the 26 acre Heritage Green Park still scheduled to be completed by early fall 2005? Currently, thier does not seem to be any construction taking place.

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your note about Heritage Green Park. We recently took bids on the park and are currently evaluating this project prior to taking to the City Council for final consideration and construction.

Based on this, I would now anticipate that the park construction would begin in the late summer and construction would continue for a period about 8-10 months. This would mean that the park should be complete by late spring of 2006.

I apologize for the original dates not being corrected. Should you have any additional questions, please let me know.

On the master plan for Heritage Greeen Park it appears that Chippewah (or a trail from the Cheyenne Crossing subdivision) will go under Legacy ... I am sure hoping that is the case as that is a very busy / dangerous intersection ... Can you please advise me if that will be that case?

Thanks for your note regarding a possible trail crossing at Chippewah and Legacy.

There will be no pedestrian crossing under Legacy in this area. The Traffic Engineering Department is looking at potential pedestrian crossings to get to the Beavers Bend Park. Due to the curve and the grade of Legacy it may necessitate that pedestrian traffic travel parallel to Legacy either north or south until site lines are more conducive to crossing.

Please feel free to let us know if you have any additional questions.
