The traffic signal at 121 and Independence for people heading North is a big problem these days. There is a single lane for traffic going in three different directions and the green light doesn't stay for more than couple of seconds. It takes about 15 minutes to cross this signal during peak times and the traffic is backed up for a mile. Can someone fix this?

We will monitor the location to see what changes may be possible. Our options are limited while TxDOT tries to complete the reconstruction of the intersection. Since this signal is controlled by the City of Plano, we will also contact them to see what changes have already been made due to the construction.
