I noticed that the new signal lights at Lebanon and Parkwood are down low by the stop signs. When a car is stopped at the intersection, the driver won't be able to see the light change since the light is almost behind him. Why isn't the light above or across the street like other intersections?

Dave,

Thanks for the question.

The traffic signal is not complete at this time. Once the new mast arms are attached to the taller signal poles, signal heads will be installed on the arms similar to other locations.

The signals that you see at this time are considered supplemental to the signals that will be installed on the mast arms.

Thanks

Brian -

What is going on with the signal contractor? No work has been done for weeks at both the Lebanon/Parkwood signal or the Coit/Main signal. Was this financial trouble that you speak of anticipated? Can the city use another vendor for these projects?

John,

We are in the process of working with the bonding company to get another vendor on board to complete both intersections.

Thanks
