It's my understanding that soccer fields are planned for the large property located at at Hillcrest & Warren. Can you elaborate? How many fields, and does the planning include walking/running/biking trails?

The proposed soccer fields will be privately owned and not City fields. At this time the owner is proposing to build a total of six fields and will probably build them in phases. As the site is privately owned there will be no hike and bike trails.

Brian,

The proposed soccer fields are actually just east of the intersection of Gaylord and Ohio. The developer of the soccer fields will be required to extend that portion of Gaylord adjacent to his property. There will probably be a short section of Gaylord that will need to be added by the developer of the property to the east.
