I live in Cheyenne Crossing. I've heard the 8 feet from the screening wall either into the neighborhood or on the other side facing away from the neighborhood is owned by the HOA. Between Cheyenne Crossing and Starwood there is a railroad track and that area is not used for foot traffic. Are there any regulations that the HOA keep this 8 feet mowed or free from trash, etc?

Ron,

According to the plat, the property adjacent to Legacy Drive is a lot dedicated to the HOA for use and maintenance. This is where the screening wall along Legacy is located. There is also a 50 foot wide lot directly adjacent to the railroad ROW that is dedicated to the HOA for use and maintenance. If you have a concern about tall grass or weeds please contact our Code Enforcement Division at 972.335.5580.
