I live in the Lone Star Ranch Development. I heard there is going to be a Tom Thumb being built in the open area next to the main entrance...next to the soon-to-be firehouse. Any idea of when this contruction will begin? Also, across the street (still on Lebanon) I thought there was going to be a nature preserve where the bike trails are now. I guess this is across from the 4th Army Rd (I think this is the name of it).

Any update on the previous posting? And if it's true what is the development timeline?

The property at the intersection of Lebanon and Teel is zoned retail for commercial uses which would include a grocery store. However, at this time we are not aware of any proposal to build a Tom Thumb or other grocery store at this site.
We are not aware of any proposed nature preserve south of Lebanon. At this time the property south of Lebanon is privately owned and vacant. South of the private property is land owned by the US Corp of Engineers. This includes some land area in addition to Lake Lewisville. This may be the area that is thought to be a preserve.
