Why do threads appear to be nested at random? Please see the "Speeding on Meadow Hill" thread for a prime example how completely unrelated threads are nested.

Where a particular thread (sub-topic)is posted is determined by the originator of the post. There are two options available for creating new threads. A person can create a new thread from the board's main page, in which case it will appear as a new thread at the top of the list of threads. A person can also create a new thread from within another thread. This feature allows a person to create a 'related thread' under a main topic. People do get these confused. However, since so many people post anonymously, it is not possible for city personnel to inquire of a person what their intention was, so the item is allowed to post within the thread where the originator created it. I agree that is confusing. Within the next week there will be a couple changes that should help communication flow on this Q&A Board.

Obviously the thread problem is still not solved.
Any estimate on when it will be fixed?

I have moved all threads I judged to be improperly nested. They now appear as separate threads under the main 'Frisco Q&A' topic. The option in the software that places a 'create a new thread' button under that main heading also places a 'create a new thread' button within an individual thread. Per my message above on June 3, that may lead to some confusion but insures an individual's post actually shows up in the thread where they created it.

Please feel free to contact me directly by phone or email if you would like to discuss this further.
