This morning at 7:30 a.m., there were two police officers (one auto and one motorcycle) who had their vehicles parked in the private parking lot of Primrose School on Legacy. They were standing out on Legacy using radar and directing speeders INTO the Primrose parking lot to receive their tickets. This is a very small parking lot and there is lots of traffic in and out for parents simply trying to drop off their children. Not only did this patrol cause problems for parents geetting in and out of Primrose, but it also scared the children seeing so much police activity in the parking lot of their school. Are they allowed to do this? Shouldn't they have been on the median of Legacy or in some other public area rather than in the private school's parking lot? Can you please see that this doesn't happen again as it really caused lots of problems this morning. Thank you.

The officers advised they tried to stay out of the way, however, we have had a significant problem with motorists speeding and running stop the stop sign in the area. I apologize for any inconvenience and yes, it is legal.
