I was wondering what kind of time frame we're looking at in regards to Frisco Square. It seems that construction has been on way for several months now but I don't see a whole lot of progress. On the other hand, the baseball stadium appears to be nearing completion. Any information you could provide is appreciated.

Frisco Square is a 10 to 20 year project. The completion of the project is tied to the economy like any other type of development. Several of the townhomes have been completed on the southern third of the property and are open for tours. Two of the commercial buildings that will also include residential above the first floor are under construction just south of Main Street.

With the passage of the City's bond package that included a new City Hall, will be built in Frisco Square. The tenative timeline for the City Hall is within the next three years.

Will there be a Central Market?

If you are referring to a central marketplace within Frisco Square, a portion of Frisco Square is devoted towards the development of retail shops, restaurants, and offices. If you are referring to an HEB Central Market, the City has not received any plans for the development of a Central Market.
