On March 15, 2002, the Frisco Police Department served an arrest warrant on Lisa Moore, 38 of Frisco, for Injury to a Child, a first-degree felony. Moore was arrested after a seven-month old boy, who was under her care, sustained a skull fracture under highly suspicious circumstances. A medical examination revealed previous serious injuries that the child’s parents were unaware of.

Lisa Moore, who lives in the 6600 block of Birkdale Lane, is a child-care provider for Monday Morning Moms and has kept other children in the past. The Texas Department of Protection and Regulatory Services-Child Care Licensing board has notified Moore that she is to cease any other child care services until this case has been resolved. Moore was released from the Collin County Detention Facility after posting $7500 bond.

The Frisco Police Department is asking that any parents of children, who have sustained any type of unexplained injury, and were cared for by Moore, contact Detective Nelson Walter at 972-335-5502. Additionally, detectives are seeking any other information that may be pertinent to this case.

Do you have any further information on this case? The person named here lives in my neighborhood; therefore, I'd like to find out what I can about the situation.

At this time, the case has been filed with the Collin County District Attorney's office. The case has not been set for Grand Jury as of this writing. The criminal investigation division is waiting on the outcome on that case before possibly filing a second case.
