I recently moved from Plano (Collin county) to Frisco. I am a registered voter but did not change my address prior to the deadline for the Feb 2nd vote. Would I still be able to vote for the Frisco propositions on Feb 2nd?

Thanks.

I am sorry, but will not be able to vote on Saturday. But you can register by April 4 in the May 4 Election.

I would suggest that you contact the County Voter Regisrar's Office and explained that you were registered in the same County. They will ask you to sign an "Affidavit of Challenged Voter" which will be forwarded to the District Attorney's office for review. The DA's office examines all Affidavits of Challenged Voters and if they fill that you were not truthful, you could be prosecuted. However if you are adamant about voting the Challenged Voter is one way to do so. At the same time the Election Judge will ask you to sign an Affidavit of Residency which will be forwarded to the County Voter Registrar's office to reflect your new address. Thank you for your inquiry. It is the goal of the City of Frisco to allow every registered voter to vote within the Laws of the State of Texas. Best regards, Nan Parker, City Secretary.
