Today, 1/31/02, Teel Parkway was flooded from Orchard to FM720. That's about a 300 yard stretch of road that was virtually impassible this morning. This ALWAYS happens when we get a lot of rain. It seems Teel Parkway is:
a. improperly graded / inadequate drainage; or
b. Drainage was blocked due to construction debris.

Who do we need to report this to and to have this situation corrected?

Thank you for your concerns. Staff is working with the Curtis Hawley on opening an additional pipe under Teel Parkway. Also there is a shopping center coming in which will also fix this proplem. Engineering is working with this developer and the City Managers office to provide for Teel to be 4 lane from FM 720 to just south of the Bridge on Teel. Thank you again for your information and if you would like further information I maybe reached at 972-335-5580 ext 156
