What is physical separation code between residential zoning/commercial zoning (ie. will there be a wood fence, a stone wall, treeline). How high will these be?

Article IV, Section 5 of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance provides different options regarding the type of screening that is to be provided between residential and commercial developments. If a developer chooses the screening wall option then a masonry wall, 6 to 8 feet in height, must be constructed between the two properties. There are other options depending upon existing topography and trees. There is no one specific standard as each project has different circumstances and one type may not work as well as another. You can view a copy of the Ordinance by going to the Planning & Development page on the City's website and select most requested ordinances. The Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance will be in the list provided.
