That are empty, that the developer/builder, has not built anything on. My wife and I are having an arguement about whether this is even an option to increase our yard size. I seem to recall something in the HOA covenant restricting it, but now I can't find it.

The process to combine two lots into one requires a replat to be reviewed and approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission at a public hearing and then the replat must be filed with the county. The City has no jurisdiction over any HOA covenants or restrictions that may restrict the purchase of adjacent property.
