I have several bags of soil that were pulled up in a landscaping project in my yard. These bags have soil and lots of rocks which were also pulled from my yard. These bags are very heavy. How should I dispose of them?

I am afraid these items must be taken to the Melissa landfill, they cannot be dropped off at the Custer Road Transfer Station. Directions and hours of operation are available on line at http://friscotexas.gov/departments/Environmental_Services/index.aspx?id=747. ID is required: TX Drivers License and current copy of Frisco water bill. Call Utility Billing at 972-335-5575 for a copy.

As you only have a few bags you may wish to call builders in or around your neighborhood to see if they will accept fill for a lot.

Please give us a call if you need further help, Environmental Services 972-335-5519.

Thanks for recycling!
