I have been hearing the train horn lately. What happen to the rule that was implemented last year to not sound the horn?

The quiet zones donít apply to the RR crossings in the northern part of the city at Panther Creek, County Road 24, or County Road 26.

The quiet zones do apply to the crossings at All Stars, Main, Frisco Square, and DNT.

Train horn sounding is controlled by BNSF railroad. There are two at-grade crossings north of Eldorado that are not within established quiet zones for train horns.
