When Independence High School opens, are there plans to put a traffic signal at this intersection? This is the main exit for Villages of Stonelake Estates on Independence, and also appears to be the main entrance for Independence High.

A traffic signal is not currently planned to be installed at the intersection of Sheffield Lane and Independence Parkway. The new high school under construction is planned to open in August 2014. This intersection will be added to our current list to monitor for the potential need of a traffic signal in the future, which will be dependent on the circulation patterns at this new high school and the analysis of conflicting movements at this location.

Thanks!
