What is the status on painting and landscaping the bridge at Legacy/121? Also, are there plans to landscape Legacy medians at 121?

Frisco currently has no funds set aside to do landscaping improvements in the Legacy median.
NTTA is responsible for the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121) and their staff indicates that no painting is planned for the bridge in order to reduce repainting costs during the lifetime of the facilities. Landscaping along SRT/121 would also be up to NTTA. You can contact NTTA directly about SRT at this link:

Are there plans to landscape the entrance medians on Legacy and 121 in front of the restaurants?

Are there any plans to widen the northbound & southbound lanes at Legacy & 121? During rush hour there is a tremendous amount of backup and it appears it is due to poor construction of the intersection. Also, when will there be a Right Turn lane southbound onto 121?

Mr. Gotter,

Eventually, the entire length of Legacy Drive will be widened to be a six-lane roadway (with three lanes in each direction). We are just beginning a project that will widen Legacy Drive to six lanes between Lebanon Road and Warren Parkway. The section of Legacy between Warren Parkway and SH 121 will be widened at some point in the future, but there are no plans to do so at this time.

However, we do have a project that will add two right-turn lanes on southbound Legacy at SH 121. Construction should be complete in about 9 months.

At this time, there are not any plans to landscape the medians at SH 121 and Legacy Drive.
