Yesterday I was at Bacchus Park...specially at the playground in the center of the baseball fields (the one with the rubber ground). There were a lot of bees all around. While they seemed to be concentrated near a trash can by the picnic tables, they were following us all around the playground. Is there anything that can be done to remove/kill them? appears as if someone recently had a celebration here as there are a ton of torn up streamers, pieces of colored tissue paper, and empty candy wrapers all over the play ground. Again, it would be nice if these could be cleaned up.

Unless the bee colony can be located and all of the bees removed there really isnít any effective method to control stray nuisance bees. Unfortunately trash receptacles attract both bees and wasps, particularly the syrup from soda cans and bottles. If the trash issue you mentioned has not already been addressed, we will have a crew take care of it.
