There has been a "coming soon" sign for Tom Thumb at the SE corner of Lebanon and 423 for many months (at least since April). Is there really going to be a Tom Thumb there? If so, can you tell me when they will break ground?

A preliminary site plan was approved by the Planning & Zoning Commission in November of last year. It did include a grocery store as an anchor but did not indicate which store brand it would be.

Before the project can move forward an application for site plan and final plat must be reviewed and approved by the Commission. Since the preliminary site plan was approved there has been no further action regarding any additional applications. I am not able to answer your question as to if a store will be built there and when construction would start. At this point it is all up to the developer.
