Is there going to be a lighted park near Coit and Panther Creek? If so, is it going to be similar to Warren Park? What is the construction timeline? Thank You

Eric,

Thanks for your message regarding a possible community park that will be on the northeast section of the community.

The current community park that lies in this area is what we currently refer to as the Northeast Community Park. This 75 acre park site is located along and south of Panther Creek Parkway, and along and east of Honey Grove Road and is one of five community parks within the city.

Currently undeveloped, I do not have a timeline on when this site will be master planned or developed. This timeline will be dependent on the continued growth of the city and funding availability.

I hope that this helps to clarify the status of this particular community park. If you should have any additonal questions, please don't hesitate to let me or our staff know.
