I have a large tv that I need to get rid of. Does Frisco have a dump or a landfill that I could take it to?

The Environmental Collection Center will take a television set(limit one per drop off, must be less than 36 inches). You can obtain more information at ioncenter/Pages/default.aspx.
Thank you for your question.

I have to ask, of course: what do we do with TVs greater than 36 inches?

Regrettably our contracted recycler does not accept any TVís that exceed 36 inches. This item can be collected through our large item pick up. This free service is provided one Saturday a month. The city is divided into sections and your Saturday collection is determined by what section you live in. Please call Environmental Services 972-292-5910 to determine your Saturday and arrange pick up.

Thank you for your continued recycling support!

Pippa Couvillion,
Environmental Services Manager.
