I was excited about the video on demand capability when it was first announced, but a recent review of what was available showed a very limited set of videos. Is there going to be a time when most video produced by the city (like council meetings or town hall meetings) will be available for VOD viewing for those that can't catch them in person or on cable?

Mr. Smith:
Video of council meetings is available online. We have had this convenience since launching video streaming in January. You can find a link to Council meetings by clicking on "Meetings" and then "Agendas" in the drop down menu accessed from the city's homepage. Once you access the 'Agenda' page, follow the cues/prompts for agendas, minutes and video of respective council meetings.

That said, given your question, we reviewed the 'Video On Demand' webpage and added a more visible 'link', which 'takes' users back to video of Council meetings.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Sincerely,

Dana Baird
Director of Communications and Media Relations
