It appears the Frisco Police blotter only shows Police calls where a particular report type was taken, correct? If so, how would a resident go about finding out about activity in a certain area where Police have been called but apparently no blotter worthy report type was taken? I think there is a City Park near my house where there seems to be a lot of activity after dark and I know Police have been called but I would like to know how many calls for Police have been made for that area in a given date range. Is this possible?

Question #2: Does Frisco have a Neighborhood Police Officer (NPO) program like many other departments do for high activity areas?

The blotter in the Frisco Enterprise contains calls selected by the Frisco Enterprise staff. Their staff reviews calls and selects noteworthy ones at their discretion. In order to find out about calls at a specific location, you would need to contact police records and complete a public information request for the area you are interested in.

We do not have an NPO program in place. Patrol officers are assigned fixed beats and work those beats everyday, so they are most familiar with what is going on in their assigned area. Thos officers focus on the areas within their beats with higher than normal activity.
