What is the timing to complete construction of the median on the north (Frisco) side of Legacy at 121 (in front of Cantina Laredo)? It appears that work has stopped and started a number of times over the past 3 years. It remains an eyesore and occasional traffic hazard.

“The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is currently working on cleaning up and placing grass along the entire length of the SH 121 project from the Dallas North Tollway to the SH 121 Bypass/Business Route split. TxDOT is concentrating on areas between the mainlanes and frontage roads to address the larger erosion hazards which can become a safety problem if mud runs out onto the roadway. They anticipate that it will take another 2 months to complete the grass between the mainlanes and frontage roads. At that time, they will start working on the completing the medians at the intersections. All work should be completed by mid August.”

Is there future plans to landscape the median at Legacy/121 in front of Cantina Laredo with trees, shrubs, and flowers? Or will only grass be installed?

Thanks for your note. I am sure there will be some additional landscaping provided on this median at some point in time.

As of now, no timeline has been set on when this will occur.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me directly.
