I was wondering, and have been asked by several others, when will the batting cages be operational at Bacchus park.? and what type of fee will be charged, and the hours of operation.? Thank You.

Thanks for your note about the batting cages that are located at Harold Bacchus Community Park.

As far as the opening of the cages for use, we are awaiting some additional equipment for the operation that will be required prior to opening.

We believe that this will be in hand within the next month. As this equipment is delivered, we are looking at opening the batting cages for limited times during the fall at no charge.

We will be charging a fee for use at the cages beginning in the spring. The actual hours of operation as well as the pricing will be finalized over the next several weeks for the spring.

Feel free to get with us over the next several weeks for an update on this.

Thanks for your note and interest in this.

Thanks for the note. In regard to your question about the batting cages, I would offer the following:

The batting cages located at Harold Bacchus Community Park are now open. Operating hours are as follows:

5:00 p.m. 9:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday
9:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. Saturdays
Closed Sundays

The machines are token operated and a $1.00 token gives fifteen pitches.

Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any additional questions or concerns.
