I see the new Super Target is really coming along. I've searched to see when an expected opening date is but cannot find anything. Does anyoneknow?

Stephanie,

The City does not track opening dates as there are too many issues that can arise to change a date. You will need to contact Target staff to find out when an opening date is scheduled.

There is a building being built in the parking lot of the new shopping center that Target is going in. What is that going to be and have there been any permits requested to put a Starbucks in that center? Also, what is being built on the other side of Eldorado from Target?

Damon,

The construction you see is for a Wachovia Bank. At this time we are not aware of any plans for a Starbucks in this center. The construction on the north side of Eldorado Parkway is for the Eldorado Market Place center. This center will contain the Market Street grocery store.

There's another building going up in the parking lot of Target next to the Tollway. What will that be?

Damon,

The building that has been permitted that fronts on to the Dallas North Tollway is for a Bank of America. There is also a retail shell bulding that faces on to Eldorado that is near the intersection.

The building that I thought was this BOA is actually the Chili's. Is Bank of America still going in at this location?
