Are there still plans for a Tom Thumb at the SEC of 423 and Lebanon? If so, is there an approximate date for construction?

The owner of the site is continuing to work on lease agreements with other potential stores on the site besides Tom Thumb. The plans for the grocery store have been approved but Tom Thumb has yet to announce a start date for construction.

Any further info on the other stores or bank that will be a part of Westside Market? It looks like there will be at least 6 other retail sites there as well as a bank according to the developers plans on http://www.nadg.com/html/properties/usa/texas/Westside%20Market/property_listing .php

Is there an estimate on the opening date of the Tom Thumb?

Development Services has not received any tenant information to date. Tom Thumb is under construction – estimated completion September 2013.

I am well aware of the project on the large plot of land south of lebanon @ 423(The Tom Thumb), but what is proposed for the large plot of land north of lebanon on the east side of 423 that is currently being bulldozed up?

The northeast corner of Lebanon and FM 423 is currently zoned for Urban Living multifamily as part of the Phillips Creek Ranch planned development. The developer has submitted an application for rezoning on that corner – the request is for retail zoning. This request is still being reviewed by staff and will go before the Planning & Zoning Commission for a public hearing in March. Upon action by the P&Z, the request will go before the City Council for another public hearing in April.

The City Council has approved an amendment to the zoning to allow a grocery store at this corner. HEB has not provided a timetable on when they will submit detailed plans for their store.

Does this mean there will definitely be an HEB store at that location sometime in the future?

Hey, Ben: What is going in SOUTH of Tom Thumb, East of Lebanon between Tom Thumb and the storage units? It looks like they're grading pads for homes? Thanks for your help!

The site south of Tom Thumb along FM 423 will be a multifamily development. The area east of Tom Thumb on Lebanon will be a single family development.
