A traffic ticket was issued a few minutes ago by a Frisco LEO.

One of the charges was that current insurance documents were not presented to the officer. The correct document was in the car but could not be found at that time.

Could we bring or email the proof of insurance to the Police Department this afternoon?

Thank you.

After the citation is issued it is transferred from the police department to the municipal court, the defendant must contact the court within 12 business days. At that time, the current proof of insurance can be presented. The disposition of that citation will be determined by the judge.
The municipal court is located at 8750 McKinney Road.
