Where is the closest storm siren to Stonelake Estates? I thought there would be one at the new firehall (#5).

Mr. Moser,

We appreciate your interest in the Outdoor Warning System in the City of Frisco. The closest sirens to Stonelake Estates are Custer Creek and Sam and Ann Roach Middle School. Sirens are audibly tested the first Wednesday of each month at noon, weather permitting.

While the sirens are designed for outdoor warning, periodically you may be able to hear the alert inside your home. For warning inside the home or business, local tv and radio stations or weather radios are recommended. On the City of Frisco’s web page a link to the siren location can be found by going to the Fire Department, then Emergency Management, and navigating to the Warning Siren link. Finally, go to Click for Warning Siren Map for further information

Please feel free to contact me at any time for further information.

Thank you,
Mack Borchardt
Frisco Fire Chief
