What is the deal with the building at 5th and Elm that is always pumping water out into the street? A few weeks back they tried to put up cheap hoses that only got holes in them while everyone drove over them. During that one week I saw three hoses across the road each one of them was ruined and not doing any good by the end of the day.

I drive that way everyday to work, when it was freezing a week or so ago that entire area was a sheet of ice. I was just about hit becuase someone was unable to stop becuase of them doing that.

With us still being on a Level III water restriction is there not something that can be done? They have to be pumping hundred of gallons of water right into the street sewers.

The water that you noticed comes from an underground spring near the AT&T Building. This water is not potable water from our water system. Normally this spring water is discharged into a dedicated storm sewer pipe. This pipe has been damaged and repairs are in process. Thanks for your inquiry.
