Where can I review number of new home permits per month and amount of sales tax revenue per month?

Also, can you make public the current 'expected' amounts for each of those per month that is used in the city budget plan.

Thanks.

Brian-

Current permit information can be viewed online in the monthly reports found at the Planning & Development Services page.

Current sales tax information is available at the Texas Comptroller's Office. Simply follow the link and type in "Frisco" and it gives years of history.

Our revenue for the current fiscal year is projected at:

Building Permits: $4,417,500
Sales Tax (City Portion): $19,564,523

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me at any time.

Thanks.

Is 2007 Residential Permit information available?

How is the city portion calculated... as all I can see if the total Sales and Use Tax.

What is the planned number of new home permits for 2007/monthly. I have seen this information a few years ago and wanted to know if the updated plan/budget was published.

Brian-

I apologize for the delay. The 2007 monthly reports are now posted at the link posted in my previous message.

Regarding the sales tax, the State of Texas taxes at a 6.5% rate, the City of Frisco is at 1%, and the Frisco Economic Development Corporation and the Frisco Community Development Corporation each have 1/2%.

The reports at the Comtroller's website include the City, FEDC, and FCDC portion, so take half of that number and you get the City portion.

Regarding a monhtly plan/budget for building permit revenues - we only budget on an annual basis and do not have monthly budgets.

Thanks, if you need any additional information, please don't hesitate to contact me.

How many new homes in 2006,2007 were used when creating the proposed budget. Is that broken down by expected monthly?

Brian-

Our revenue projections are based upon previous history of total revenue, not the number of homes, nor do we project or budget revenues on a monthly basis.
