2 questions:

1 - Why does the traffic pattern on Main street between 423 & DNT change at 8am? The traffic seems to flow fine up to this point, but around 8am, the traffic gets backed up unecessarily at both Legacy & Teel.

2 - Is it possible to have 2 left hand turn lanes for Northbound Legacy turning onto westboung Main? The traffic is horribly backed up on Legacy every evening, and there always seem to be people making illegal left turns from the middle lane anyway.

Per Brian Moen, Transportation Manager

1. I do not have a specific reason why traffic in this area appears to pick up around 8am. Our counts show that the morning peak time in Frisco typically runs from 6:30am to 8:30am. Volumes vary in that two hour window, but the highest volumes times are usually in the 7 to 8am hour. Volumes also fluctuate greatly from day to day.

2. We are considering this change as part of some more significant changes on northbound Legacy near Main.
