Now that we are in October; are we still under watering restrictions of any kind? There is some confusion on how to interpret the warning stages: is it the hours of restricted watering that expired on September 30th or is it the entire Stage 2 restriction that expired meaning we can water outside any time/any day of the week? Clarification would be appreciated.

K. Wilkens:

All water restrictions expired on September 30. We are in the process of changing our message on the city website. We will ask for voluntary observance of our restrictions until the high temperatures subside and we get some rainfall. We will specifically ask our residents avoid outdoor watering from 5 am to 8 am and use water wisely two days per week for outdoor landscaping. Thanks for your inquiry.
