Are there certain guidelines as to where City dump trucks can dump their loads of dirt? Can they just go to a field and dump? How do I find out if a certain field is supposed to be used for dumping?

Mr. Pearce:

Are you referring to City of Frisco dump trucks or other contractors? Dumping is usually between the landowner and the contractor. In most cases, the City is not apart of this agreement. If a field is posted as 'no dumping', the City's Code Enforcement or Police Department will enforce the No Dumping. There is no list of dump site locations other than the municipal landfills belonging to the North Texas Municipal District.

If you have any additional questions, please contact Code Enforcement at (972) 335.5580, #188.
