Are there any plans to widen 720 eastbound to McKinney? What about plans to pave Eldorado? Also, will Westridge (McKinney) connect to Frisco to Preston? Westridge neighborhoods are McKinney addresses but Frisco schools, and I am wondering which routes bus services will be able to use.

The City of Frisco has started the engineering for FM 3537 from Preston to Custer Road. This roadway will be designed to TxDot standards and built by TxDot.The schematic has been approved by TxDot early this summer and the engineer has started the PS&E (Plans, Specifications and engineering drawings). It is anticipated to be complete mid 2004. The City is working with TxDot in trying to move this roadway up on the TxDot list of funded projects. While the engineering is being completed the City Staff is working on getting the Right-of-Way for this roadway. The City is also working with McKinney and Collin County for the intersection improvements at Custer and FM 3537.
Eldorado is under design and should be under construction this summer. This will connect Custer Road to Preston with at least two lanes of pavement. We anticipate the construction to take 6 to 9 months.

I believe West Ridge is our Panther Creek Parkway and those roads will be connected.
Any questions about bus service should be taken up with FISD.
