Heard through the grapevine that there is a meeting w/developers/COC reguarding property on the south side of Rolator between Preston Vinyards and the apartments.

1) what is being propsed for this area
2) what type of meeting is being held next week
3) who can attend
4) when and where

On the south side of Rolater Drive, there is an application for a zone change request to allow for the construction of townhomes on property currently zoned for apartments. The site is approx. 39.5 acres in size and the request calls for the development of 267 townhomes on the site.

The City of Frisco strongly encourages rezoning applicants to meet with surrounding HOA's to discuss their application prior to appearing before the Planning & Zoning Commission and the City Council. This is an informational meeting for area HOA representatives and residents. It will be held in the Chamber of Commerce meeting room at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12. At the meeting the applicant will explain their request and answer questions from those in attendance.

Please feel free to contact me at 972.335.5540, ext. 142 if you have any further questions.
