I was wondering if the city can do anything about the alley that runs from Castle Dr. to Quest Rd. on Hillcrest. All the other subdivision has a wall that cover the alley and trash bins, but only this one has this eyesore view. Does the city can force the builder/owners do something about it? Thanks.

I understand that this subdivision, when approved, predated the screening wall requirement. However, how likely is it for us to see the city provide, at a minimum, some sort of living screen and irrigation in lieu of building a wall?

Elena & John,
You are correct that the subdivision was approved prior to wall or landscape screening requirements. For this reason the City can not require that the developer, builders or homeowners construct a screening wall or plant shrubs.
The City current does not have a program to construct screening walls or plant landscape screens where these were not constructed. Thank you for your interest.
