I am a little confused why news of the damage at the new high school is just coming out. The Dallas Morning News reported that this damage (which was over $100K) took place last month. Everyone in the city was outraged about Friendship Park, but we knew about that the next day. I can only imagine that most people would be upset about the new school being damaged too. Was this information withheld so more evidence could be found or were there our reasons to withhold this information? Thanks.

I assume that the reporter attended the school board meeting and it was discussed there. There was nothing withheld by the police department. I don't recall whether it was in the police blotter in the local paper or not. Construction site vandalism is not an uncommon occurence and it may not have raised reporters' interest until the school board was discussing it in open session.

If anyone has information about this, or any other crime, please call the Frisco Police Department at 972.335.5505.
