I was wondering if there is a fine for not picking up after pets in common green belts and in neighborhoods. The neighborhood that I live in is full of dog droppings to the point that residents had flung it out into the street. I was hoping that if there is a fine, some sort of signs could be posted at the corners. We are a pretty small neighborhood. Thanks for any help on this.

There is currently no specific ordinance that governs that behavior. It was discussed at one time, but no action was ever taken. Fortunately this has not been an issue that comes up very often. Maybe discussing it with your neighbors could be helpful?
