The past vew months the city has been replacing either water or sewer lines on Camfield Way. Once this is complete what is the plan on resurfacing the street. I have lived on Camfield Way since 1982 and the repairs are always covered with asphalt. What is the chance we can get a real street with gutters and concrete. And when do they plan on completing the repairs.

The Utility Department has been replacing water lines in a portion of the area. They have finished with that phase and now the Street Department will compact the trenches and prepare the area for new asphalt. New asphalt will go down after the first of the year and should take about 2-3 weeks to complete, weather permitting. I am not aware of any plans to re-do these streets in concrete.

Does this mean the entire Camfield Way will be paved or just the area that has been dug up to replace the water lines.

We plan to mill an 8'wide path over the water line repair using the concrete curb as a guide and then lay new asphalt over it.

To clarify, the immediate plans are to repair any area that has been disturbed during the installation of the new water lines. There are no plans to do any additional work at this time.
