The afternoon rush hour traffic heading north on 423 our of The Colony into Frisco/Little Elm has gotten much worse over the last couple of weeks. It is now consistently backed up from The Colony all the way to the Y intersection north of four corners. It seems like the traffic light at the 423/720 Y intersection has been retimed, which has resulted in traffic being backed up all the way to the four corners light. Sorry for the long post, but is there any hope for relief? Thanks.

The traffic signal at 423/720 (Y intersection) is in Little Elm and is maintained by TxDOT.

I agree something has changed with the operation of that signal. We have confirmed several calls similar to yours this week.

I called TxDOT this morning and they said they will look into it during the PM rush hour. Thank-you for bringing this to our attention.

Will there be a turn lane built (from N. 423 to E. onto Lebanon) along with the current widening of Lebanon into 423?
