I was wondering if anyone can shed some light about the proposed park in the Stonelake Estates West neighbourhood. This is approximately at the corner of Eldorado and Independence. What is the expected start date and completion date for this park and any other details about the park? Thanks.

Thanks for your note regarding what I believe is the Foncine Settlement neighborhood park that is located in the Frisco Heights/Stonelake Estates area, north of Eldorado Parkway, west of Custer Road.

The master plan for this neighborhood park is being considered at the September 14th meeting of the Parks and Recreation Board.

If you are interested in attending, the meeting will be taking place in the City Council Chambers located at 6101 Frisco Square Boulevard and begin at 6:30 pm.

Funding for the design and construction of the park is expected to take place in 2007, with completion of the park's construction hoping to take place in the fall of 2007.

If you have any additional questions, please feel free to let me or our staff know.

Thanks again for your inquiry,

Rick Wieland
Director of Parks and Recreation
