With the new apartments and townhomes being built off of Smotherman Road, and behind the Aldi store, we are concerned about Corbell Elementary becoming overcrowded. Are there plans to build a new elementary school? We are considering purchasing a new home in the area this year, and would like to stay in the same schools, but we are also worried about possible problems that could be caused by the sudden increase in population that is sure to come soon. Thank you.

FISD has a site there if needed for growth. At this time projections show that we can accommodate expected student numbers at Corbell, with room to adjust boundaries between Corbell and Fisher if needed.
