I need to dispose of a non-working refrigerator. How would I do this?

Free large item pick up is available. The city is divided into four sections, a different section is serviced one Saturday per month. State Law requires that the refrigerator must be tagged as "freon free" by a certified technician before pick up can be made. To arrange collection contact CWD at 972-392-9300.

You can also chose to take the refrigerator to the Custer Road Transfer Station, 9901 Custer Road. (Freon does not have to be extracted for free drop off) Hours of operation and directions are listed on our website: http://friscotexas.gov/departments/Environmental_Services/index.aspx?id=747
ID required - Valid Tx Drivers License and copy of current Frisco water bill. If you do not have a current copy contact Utility Billing at 972-335-5575 and they will be happy to provide you with a duplicate.

If you need more information please contact Environmental Services at 972-292-5900 and we will be happy to help you.

Thanks for recycling!
