A church was recently constructed on the northeast corner of Lebanon and Ohio. It has zero landscaping. I realize we're under drought conditions, but I believe construction was completed months ago, prior to the water restrictions.
Isn't there an ordinance mandating at least some landscaping?
The building looks abandoned in its current state.

The church, Lebanon Baptist Church, has installed the required irrigation system and has established the turf cover. They have requested that they be allowed to plant the required trees and shrubs once the cooler weather begins. The City's Senior Landscape Architect has agreed to allow them to delay the planting. The City's Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance does allow for plantings to be delayed until the weather is more appropriate. There is no specific minimum landscaping required. The church has established the ground cover so as not to have dirt and/or dust below around the site and the neighborhood.
