Howdy,

I see two fields with Goal Posts on them but do not see any signs saying what the number is for each field. Are signs planned? Or, how can we know which field is which when we have games scheduled on those fields?

Also - are those fields open to practice on? Football, Lacross, Baseball, Soccer, ... ?

Thanks,

Christopher,
For this coming fall season. FFL and Lacrosse will be utilizing the Phillips game fields. FFL has the east field ( East side of concession stand closest to water tower) as FFL Field 1 and the west field as FFL Field 2.

Lacrosse will have four regulation fields. Lacrosse Field 1 is the furthest northwest field. Lacrosse Field 2 is the same field as FFL Field 2. Lacrosse Field 3 is the southwest field (running east to west). Lacrosse field 4 is the far east field (by parking lot and same as FFL Field 1). Attached is an aerial picture of the park for reference.

Due to safety concerns and the nature of their sport, Frisco Lacrosse are the only approved league that can practice on those game fields. Their practices involve high speed game balls and having other leagues in the area could be dangerous.

Best Regards,

Eddie Camacho Parks Superintendent
City of Frisco Parks & Recreation Department
