We are interested in a townhome/condo unit in Frisco. We have looked at Frisco Square and Bella Casa, and a couple of older projects. However, almost everything out there now is two or three levels. We really want something that is single level. Are there any townhome/condo projects under construction or planned in the City of Frisco? With the number of us baby-boomer, empty-nesters growing every day, it seems like someone would want to fill the niche for a somewhat downsized (1500-2000 sq ft), low maintenance product.

We currently do not have any single-story, attached townhome products planned for development. Due to the narrow size of Townhome lots (usually 25 feet), there really isn’t a way to develop a single-story product on such a small lot. Perhaps you should look at some of the Patio Home developments in the city. Patio Homes are on larger lots (usually 50- to 55-feet in width) and many builders offer single-story products for those lots. Frisco Lakes by Del Webb is a good example. The homes in that development are actually restricted to single-story as well as a maximum floor area.

The residential component of Legacy Commons (Legacy at Town & Country) will contain approximately 680 “urban style” apartment units. The buildings will be 4 stories in height with some retail on the ground floor and residences above. Parking for the apartments will be in parking garages interior to the buildings.
