How can we cut off the water at the street to do a plumbing repair when there is a meter reader equipment in the way? I can not get the wrench in there at angle to cut it off due to this equipment.

Chris:

Only authorized city personnel are allowed to open and work in the meter box. Most newer homes in Frisco have a shut-off valve located near the house in the flower bed. If you need your water turned off, please contact us at 972-292-5800. Thanks.

Would houses built in 1999 have this shut-off valve? I found 2 valves in the front flower bed but thought they were for the sprinkler system. One is red and one is blue/black, would one of these be them? Thanks.
