Looking at the zoning map accessed from the City site I see that The Landing at Waterstone has a TH label. The surrounding Waterstone developments have SF 3, 4, or 5. The Landing is currently made up of large lot, large square footage Single Family Homes with a 3-car garage minimum (per builder). Is this TH label an error, or was there a recent Zoning change? If there was a change, when and at whose request and why were the current residents not notified in writing of the attempt to change.

The Townhome zoning was established as part of a larger rezoning that was done in March of 1999. As single family housing is a permitted use in a Townhome district it was not necessary to rezone the property to single family residential. The plat for the Landing established the larger lot sizes. City codes did not set a large house square footage or a 3-car garage. Those were set by the developer before homes were built in the development.
